Technology Tour

Monday, May 4 | 11am – 4pm
Member: $295 | Non-member:  $395

You can add this workshop to your Utility Conference registration

Add a 1/2-day on-site trip to your conference experience to see how one utility is incorporating variable assets into their distribution grid.  Attendees will travel to several local locations including Duke Energy’s Renewable Control Center, which provides critical monitoring services for all of Duke Energy Renewables operating assets, which total about 3,000 megawatts (MW), and the Monroe Solar Facility that features over 680,000 thin film solar panels that generate more than 100 million kWh annually!

Voices of Experience | Microgrids for Resiliency

Workshop

Monday, May 4 | 12 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Participation in the Voices of Experience meetings is restricted to UTILITIES-ONLY. If you have any questions please contact Kevin McGrath at kmcgrath@sepapower.org. Non-utility registrations will be canceled.

If you are currently working at a utility exploring the use of microgrids for resiliency, attend this workshop to learn firsthand what other utilities are doing, ask questions and share your own experience.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will convene utilities at Utility Conference for peer-to-peer conversations on how utilities are leveraging microgrids to improve resilience.

There is no cost to attend, but you do need to register.
