Add this workshop onto your Smart Energy Week Registration

With the advent of FERC Order 2222, solutions providers are gearing up to aggregate on-site distributed energy resources (DERs), ranging from water heaters and air conditioners to batteries and EV chargers. Aggregators will sell services from customer-sited equipment to both wholesale markets and distribution utilities, with the promise of creating a cleaner, more efficient, and more reliable power grid. However, numerous challenges exist in realizing the full promise of DERs. This course will explain the technologies, the potential, and the challenges inherent in deploying DERs to create the grid of the future.

All attendees will receive a copy of The Energy Switch: How Companies and Customers are Transforming the Electrical Grid and the Future of Power.
