SEPA President and CEO Julia Hamm Named U.S. C3E Ambassador

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Julia Hamm, President and CEO of the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) has released the following statement on her appointment as an Ambassador for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) prestigious Clean Energy Education & Empowerment (C3E) Initiative.

“I am humbled and honored to join this impressive cohort of distinguished role models and advocates for women in clean energy,” said Julia. “Fostering the next generation of female leaders is essential to achieving a clean and modern energy future.”

As a C3E Ambassador, Julia will work to close the gender gap and increase the participation, leadership and success of women in clean energy. Ambassadors are responsible for selecting awardees for the U.S. C3E Awards, which recognize the outstanding achievements and leadership of eight mid-career female professionals across the spectrum of clean energy careers.
