Manager - Utility of the Future, PSEG (Chair)
Ahmed is the Utility of the Future manager at PSE&G, working towards a 100% renewable system in a reliable, innovative and cost effective manner. Ahmed is the technical leader for PSE&G’s Clean Energy Future, NJ Energy Masterplan 600/2,000 MW energy storage mandates, 3,500/7,500 MW wind mandates, climate change, intelligent touchless substation, microgrids, non-wire alternatives, electric vehicles, smart home, voltage VAR optimization, net zero/near-net zero buildings. Ahmed developed the DER interconnection guide. Ahmed is responsible for preparing the Integrated Distribution Plan. Ahmed has over 16 years utility experience @ PSE&G, Con Edison, First Energy & PEPCO.
Active board member: NJIT electrical and engineering Industry Advisory Board, Rutgers University cyber security board & New Jersey Association of Energy Engineers.
Ahmed is an adjunct Professor at NJIT. Author of 4 books & several electrical engineering PE courses. CEO/Founder: Electric Bridge Consulting and 100% Energy Club. Ahmed received his B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Stony Brook University and Manhattan College.

With more than 15 years of experience, Stacy is a transportation electrification specialist helping federal agencies, state and local governments, and utilities plan, design, and implement clean transportation strategies and programs. She has contributed to nationwide and local efforts to increase EV adoption through supportive infrastructure and policy development since modern-day EVs hit the roads a decade ago. Stacy leads EV readiness plans, utility EV charging program design and execution, regulatory and policy tracking, and outreach and engagement.

Mr. Knight joined PNNL in 2016 and is a Chief Engineer in the Integration Team of the Energy and Environment Directorate, Electric Infrastructure Group. Mr. Knight is an experienced professional with deep experience of utility companies. His experience includes distribution, transmission, metering, systems integration, deregulation, smart grid, interoperability, asset management, risk management, and transactive energy systems. He is also Emeritus Chair of the GridWise Architecture Council (GWAC), a group formed by the U.S. Department of Energy to promote and enable interoperability among the many entities that interact with the nation’s electric power system.
Mr. Knight is responsible for providing thought leadership and project/program management for the Laboratory’s research portfolios in interoperability and transactive systems. These roles include collaborating with other national laboratories as part of the GMLC to improve interoperability and adoption of transactive energy systems. Mr. Knight also provides technical direction, connecting research to industry needs though interaction and participation in industry groups.
