(POLICY UPDATE, April 12, 2022) Vaccination or negative COVID test RECOMMENDED
Based on current state and CDC guidance, we have updated our COVID-19 policy for the Utility Conference.
COVID vaccination and negative tests are no longer required to attend. However, it is highly recommended that all participants, including attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, and staff are vaccinated or test negative no more than 72 hours prior to arrival at the Utility Conference in Portland, Oregon.
Face coverings are recommended for all attendees, exhibitors, and staff.
Throughout the pandemic, we have strived to ensure all our events protect our attendees, exhibitors, staff, and stakeholders while maximizing the current thinking about health and safety measures. This month, the CDC released updated health guidance that informed our decision.
Please note that our COVID policies are subject to change based on local, state, and CDC guidelines.
Exhibits: We’ve limited the number of exhibits to allow for better social distancing, table top exhibitors should explore adding plexiglass shields to counters or meeting tables and other social distancing measures.
Giveaways: We recommend limiting your giveaways and taking advantage of the digital ways we are offering to distribute collateral.
Sanitation Stations: Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the event. Touch-free hand sanitizer, as well as gloves and alcohol wipes will be available as well.
Regular Cleaning: We will work with the event hotel and other venues to confirm they have increased cleaning regiments.
Registration: All attendees must pre-register digitally. To minimize time spent at registration, badges will be pre-printed and can be picked up from a designated registration counter.
Cancellation requests must be sent via email to [email protected]. We do ask for your patience and allow us 10 business days to process the request, and that you send your request as quickly as possible so that we can adjust our planning accordingly.
Payment must be received in full by April 24, 2022, or your registration will be cancelled.
SEPA prioritizes the health and safety of our members and takes every precaution to keep event attendees safe. With this in mind, we are offering flexibility to attendees given the changing nature of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
If you have registered for the 2022 Utility Conference and are unable to travel due to circumstances outside of your control including, but not limited to, doctor or public health official’s orders or organizational travel restrictions, you may cancel your registration and apply the funds to a future SEPA event of your choice.
