Energy Storage Working Group

Our Work

The Energy Storage Working Group meets to discuss the integration of energy storage assets into the fold of the electric grid. This group brings together utility staff spearheading the deployment of storage at their utility, industry solution providers from the storage space, as well as utilities who are beginning to explore energy storage. Some initial tasks of the working group will be to identify and disseminate best practices and challenges for utilities approaching the integrating of energy storage into their portfolios.
The working group seeks to advise staff on content designed to serve the needs of SEPA members through the following activities:

  • At least quarterly calls and meetings
  • Sharing of industry perspectives and insights
  • Providing input on relevant research reports and output
  • Assisting in webinar, conference session, and workshop development
