On Monday, attendees were able to choose between two different workshops that took a hands-on approach to improve DER interconnection and the evolution of demand response. Heads full of new ideas, attendees spent the evening outside sharing and connecting with one another.

Day One

In his opening keynote Jeremy Rifkin, best-selling author and economist, wowed the audience with his insight into the possibilities of smart infrastructure. The rest of day one was packed with general sessions covering the most important and timely industry topics concerning our transition to a more modern grid. Attendees were able to network and make connections again that evening.

Day Two

Day two’s schedule included smaller and more interactive sessions in which attendees could work together to solve industry challenges. The highlight of the day, three EV power hour sessions focused on answering the question, how could transportation electrification transform the utility sector?

Day Three

Day three was all about smaller working group meetings. Although our technology-focused working groups meet year-round digitally, this was an opportunity for members and non-members alike to meet in person and have in-depth discussions about the technologies they are most interested in.
