He partners with industry leaders to guide Oracle’s go-to-market strategies and steering new product development. Prior to Oracle, Neel was with Baltimore Gas and Electric for 13 years. He led implementation of smart grid solutions and demand response programs. Neel is a technologist — he loves playing with the latest gadgets and applies this passion to further the industry. Neel graduated from University of Maryland with a dual degree in Computer Science and Finance, and subsequently earned a MBA from Johns Hopkins University. At home, he is surrounded by loving daughters and a wife. From time to time, they let him get out to play a round of golf, which is his third passion behind family and energy sustainability. Dan York Utilities, State, and Local Policy Program Fellow, ACEEEDan York has more than 20 years of experience in researching, analyzing and implementing energy efficiency policies and programs. He is widely recognized for his work tracking and analyzing trends and emerging issues in utility-sector energy efficiency programs. His entire educational and professional experiences have focused on energy efficiency and conservation as the foundations for a sustainable economy. He joined ACEEE in 2001.Prior to joining ACEEE, Dan was a senior project manager at the Energy Center of Wisconsin.He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
