She covers a range of topics including integrated distribution planning, non-wires alternatives, and demand flexibility. Prior to joining SEPA, Brenda worked as a consultant on Utility of the Future and grid modernization efforts. She holds a master’s degree in sustainable development from the University of St. Andrews, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental studies from Emory University. Follow Brenda LinkedIn Frank Lacey Principal, Electric Advisors Consulting, LLC Board: Director Frank Lacey, Principal at Electric Advisors Consulting LLC, has worked in the electricity industry for over 20 years, initially consulting for utilities then moving into the customer-facing sector. He has been involved in various phases of industry re-structuring throughout his entire career and has recently launched his own consulting firm, Electric Advisors Consulting LLC, assisting energy companies and end-use customers strategize around the maze of constantly evolving regulations. Frank previously worked as Senior Vice President for Regulatory and Market Strategy at Comverge Inc./CPower, Director at Direct Energy, the North American affiliate of Centrica, PLC, and in energy and environmental consulting with Arthur Andersen LLP and Putnam, Hayes and Bartlett Inc. In addition to serving as a Board Director with SEPA, Frank serves as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Advanced Energy Management Alliance (AEMA) and previously on the Board of Directors of ERCOT. Derek Kirchner Director, Demand Response, Consumers Energy, DTE Energy Brett Feldman Principal Research Analyst, Navigant Consulting, inc. Brett Feldman is a principal research analyst with Navigant, focusing on demand response programs and their implications for the global power industry. Prior to joining Navigant Research, he was a principal for demand response at Constellation Energy and a demand response program manager at Eversource. He has also served as the chair of the Business Issues Committee of the Association of Demand Response and Smart Grid, the chair of the New York Independent System Operator Price Responsive Load Working Group, the vice chair of the Independent System Operator-New England Demand Resources Working Group, and the co-chair of the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association Energy Efficiency and Demand Response Committee. He is a recipient of the Peak Load Management Alliance’s 2014 Outstanding Market Research Award and 2017 Thought Leader Award.
