SEPA Requests Proposals in Support of FUSED Initiative

An under-recognized but critical barrier to distributed energy resource (DER) growth is insufficient understanding of and familiarity with DERs on the part of electric utility professionals. DER training developed with and for utilities will not only build needed skill sets for key roles within the utility workforce, but will also foster more informed and proactive utility/customer interactions, thus reducing soft costs related to the successful integration of DER technology.

SEPA requests proposals for assistance in creating and implementing a specialized distributed energy resource (DER) accredited training program for utility employees – Facilitating Utility Smart Energy Education (“FUSED”). SEPA is seeking a firm or team comprised of content matter experts and instructional designers for this project.

Bid proposals should be submitted electronically to: Jenny Senff at [email protected] and must be received by July 7, 2017 by 4:00 PM ET.

We anticipate that the most responsive bidder(s) for the proposed scope of work will be selected by August 2, 2017. We will notify all providers, whether they are disqualified, rejected, or unsuccessful although responsive.
