SEPA President and CEO Julia Hamm on passing of Jim Rogers: ’An incalculable loss’

Julia Hamm, President and CEO of the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), has released the following statement on the passing of Jim Rogers, former Chairman and CEO of Duke Energy.

“The recent passing of Jim Rogers is an incalculable loss to the electric power industry as a whole and to all of us SEPA. Jim was a long-time supporter of our organization, and a member of our Board of Directors from 2015 to 2017. We knew him not only as an astute and visionary business leader, but as a warm, funny and down-to-earth human being — as at home in a boardroom as on a roof, helping to install solar panels. Jim was always looking for the next challenge — and solutions — to make the world a better place. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.”
