Orange Button Public Webinar – August 30, 2016

During this webinar, Orange Button leaders provided a program update and discussed progress made towards standardizing solar data and reducing soft costs

As part of the U.S. Department of Energy SunShot initiative, Orange Button supports the creation and adoption of industry-led open data standards for rapid and seamless data exchange across the solar value chain from origination to decommissioning.

SGIP, the SunSpec Alliance, NREL, and kWh Analytics are collaborating with solar industry participants to deliver the Orange Button initiative. The program had its formal kickoff at Intersolar in July and is now underway.

Please join Aaron Smallwood of SGIP and Anil Pochiraju from the SunSpec Alliance as they review the Orange Button program’s structure and objectives and provide a view into current activities and the work of the Orange Button Requirements and Technical Working Groups.
