Centralized Solar Projects Update Bulletin – 2012 Year In Review

This inaugural edition includes 2012 U.S. solar activity

In 2012, 72 projects were completed totaling over 1,230 MW – a 190% increase in large solar capacity from the previous year. In the final quarter of 2012, 34 projects were completed, totaling a cumulative capacity of 478 megawatts (MW-ac), while 4 more commenced construction, and 37 were announced.
