RE+ Mid-Atlantic

Co-hosted by SEPA and SEIA, RE+ Mid-Atlantic brings together clean energy buyers and suppliers to tackle the region’s most pressing grid challenges: rising energy demand, aging infrastructure, and evolving policy landscapes.

SEPA is driving these conversations forward through expert-led panels designed to help attendees navigate unprecedented large load growth, new opportunities for community solar, and managed charging programs. Sessions will draw on SEPA’s industry-wide perspective to deliver actionable insights and strategies for building reliable, flexible energy solutions in the Mid-Atlantic.

SEPA Speaker Sessions at RE+ Mid-Atlantic 2026

August 12, 2026

Lesley Jantarasami, Vice President, Research & Industry Strategy
  • General Session: VPPs: The Fastest, Most Affordable Way to Provide Capacity Now | 9:20 – 10 am ET
In an era of increasing load growth and retail rates, this panel will explore several examples of utility-led VPP programs from a trifecta of perspectives: utility, regulator, and VPP provider. • New Opportunities for Community Solar Market Development | 11:30 am – 12:20 pm ET

SEPA Panelist: Solange Camacho, Senior Analyst, Research & Industry Strategy
  • Scaling VGI Storage Meeting Large Load Growth: The Evolution of Battery Assets from Arbitrage to Reliability | 3-3:50 pm ET
This panel will present key learnings from SEPA’s EV Managed Charging Task Force’s inaugural year, including its new Guidebook for Scaling Managed Charging Programs. Panelists will highlight proven approaches to breaking down internal silos, strengthening cross-department collaboration, and building durable, integrated programs that unlock the full grid and customer value of managed charging.
SEPA Panelist: Ashley Lynn Qua, Senior Manager of Transportation Electrification, Research & Industry Strategy
