Peter Kelly-Detwiler has 35 years of experience in the electric energy arena, with much of his career in various areas of competitive power markets. He’s a former SVP at Constellation Energy, having run their Demand Response Group. He’s currently a strategist and communicator in the electric industry, focused on the rapid pace of transformation to a sustainable energy economy. He offers numerous keynotes and workshops on a wide range of topics, from offshore wind to batteries to the drivers of technological change. He provides strategic advice to clients and investors, helping them to navigate the challenges of a constantly evolving energy landscape. Peter has written over 300 pieces on the topic for Forbes.com and other publications, and is the author of a book on the transformation of electric power markets, “The Energy Switch,” published by Prometheus Books, 2021. Sarah joined SEPA in April 2024 and brings with her eight years of experience in teaching, training, and professional learning in Houston, Texas and Seoul, South Korea. She works closely with SEPA staff to lead our online learning programs, including our basic training and boot camp courses, and webinars. Sarah previously served as an Instructional Designer for the University of Houston, where she played a vital role in LMS migration, launched the Business College’s first online Executive Education courses, and developed a resource portal to assist over 250 faculty and 7,000 undergraduate, graduate, and executive students. She has led professional learning events to advocate for research-backed digital pedagogies and has presented research regarding the use of generative AI for English Language Learners. Sarah holds an M.Ed in Curriculum and instruction from the University of North Texas and a BA in Critical Theory from Occidental College.
