Webinar Resilient by Design: Utility Approaches to Long-Term Resilience Planning Nov 6, 2025 2 p.m. ET 1 hr Virtual Watch On-Demand Members Free Non-members $79 Watch On-Demand In July, SEPA published Resilient by Design: Utility Strategies for Climate-Ready Distribution Systems in partnership with Rhizome. The report analyzed utility resilience plans and summarized insights from five utility interviews to assess resilience planning trends and progress. In this webinar, attendees will hear from utilities embedding long-term resilience into traditional systems, capital, and operational planning efforts, and how that planning process changes based on the hazards that affect utilities and the regulatory environments in which they exist. Audience Will Learn: Integration Approaches – How leading utilities are embedding resilience into system, capital, and operational planning processes. Hazard-Specific Strategies – How resilience planning adapts depending on the types of hazards (e.g., storms, wildfires, flooding) facing different utilities Regulatory Drivers – How varying regulatory environments shape and influence utility resilience strategies and decision-making.
